Based on Plan number 47/KH/UBND by Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee on Opening ceremony of Travelling year of Yen Bai 2017 with following contents :

 Travelling year of Yen Bai 2017 is to respect value of traditional culture and unique character of nature and people of Yen Bai. It advertises and emphasizes the strong points of tourism sector of Yen Bai in order to attract domestic and foreign tourists by opening tourist activity chain in Yen Bai which responds The National Travelling Year 2017 in Lao Cai and Northwest.

 The schedule of activities as followings:  

1. Opening ceremony

- Start: at 19h00’ on date: 19/5/2017.

- Place: 19/8 Square – Yen Bai city – Yen Bai province.

2. Conference on Commercial promotion

- Time: Half a day, start at 8.00 am on 19/5/2017.

- Place: Conference Hall Central of Yen Bai city

3. Festival performance Pray for Mountain Mother

- Time: from 20 of May to 21 of May 2017.

- Place: Dong Cuong Temple in Dong Cuong commune of Van Yen district

4. Festival performance of hang gliding in Khau Pha commune

- Time:

Phase 1: from 13 of May to 14 of May 2017.

Phase 2: from 20 of May to 21 of May 2017

- Place: Mountain pass in Khau Pha, Mu Cang Chai district

5. Community tourist actitities

- Time : from 11 of May to 20 of May 2017

- Place : Sà Rèn village in Nghia Lo town; Pang Cáng village in Suoi Giang commune in Van Chan district; Kim Nọi village in Mu Cang Chai district; Vu Linh commune and Phuc An commune in Yen Binh district.
